Handmade chopsticks made from rare lignum vitae. Lignum vitae means "tree of life" in Latin, and the sap of this tree is said to cure all diseases, making it a very rare species. The wood is extremely heavy and hard, with a dense, homogeneous surface and excellent durability. It is also known as the heaviest wood in the world. Each chopstick is carved out with a belt sander and carefully finished by hand.
