This item was created from a disassembled antique formal kimono with five family crests, which was then washed at home and ironed. It has never been worn after being made. The kimono itself seems to be from a fairly old era (based on the fabric), but it appears to have been carefully stored, so it doesn't feel like it has been worn much. Made of silk crepe (chirimen), it shrank considerably when washed (especially in width). It was made without forcibly stretching it with an iron, so it shouldn't shrink further if washed in the future. Therefore, it stretches horizontally (like knit fabric). The waist has elastic. Please adjust it.
