I embroidered a Hannya mask with sequins on felt. It's an original design. Costumes are also important for dance. I attached it to the obi when my mother danced "Yasha no Kawa" (River of Demons). I couldn't find a kimono or obi with an oni (demon) pattern, so I made it myself. When she went on stage, there was a cheer. On stage, anything sparkly really stands out. Just sew it onto the taiko (back) part of your obi, and it will transform into an impactful Hannya mask obi.
