This is a practice mute designed and manufactured specifically for piccolo trumpets. It is not commercially available. Please see the photos for reference, showing it attached. The image shows a Schilke P5-4. While it depends on the bell shape, I believe it can be attached to most piccolo trumpets. #Confirmed with Yamaha. While there are mutes for trumpets, there aren't many for piccolo trumpets. It allows you to significantly reduce the volume while maintaining the tone. I use it for practicing indoors, depending on the environment. #Piccolo trumpet body not included.
