Enoshima Shrine is a shrine dedicated to the three goddesses of the sea and water, the Munakata Sanjojin (Tagitsuhime-no-mikoto, Ichikishimahime-no-mikoto, and Tagorihime-no-mikoto), and is famous for its blessings in matchmaking, love fulfillment, financial luck, career luck, and improvement in the arts. It consists of three shrines scattered around the island: "Hetsumiya," "Nakatsumiya," and "Okutsumiya." It is also revered as one of Japan's three major Benzaiten shrines, and is a power spot particularly popular among those in the entertainment industry.
