This is a large bell specification euphonium, the TA2900, made by Wilson. It is currently made to order. I purchased this used to compare it with my TA2900. It is very clean, perhaps because the previous owner took great care of it, or perhaps because it was not used very often. There is a small dent on the 3rd valve slide (photo 6), and a slight tarnish where the right thumb rests. There are no thin spots in the plating or scratches. The build quality is more meticulous than the current TA2900, and the fit of the tuning slides is perfect. The tone, with my unskilled playing, I couldn't tell the difference from the TA2900. The blowing resistance felt slightly lighter, but I think it's within the range of individual differences. Regarding intonation tendencies, as shown in the 3rd photo, with each tuning slide pulled out, it is almost a B♭ just intonation. The dent on the 3rd valve does not affect the pitch. As it is a compensated instrument, I think it is sufficient for those looking for a good-value instrument for high school music programs or music college entrance exams.
