This is a volatile brush made by Koyo-sha around the Taisho to early Showa era. It was used for removing stains from Western and Japanese clothing. Volatile oil was put into the glass container, and the user would turn the screw on the top to allow the oil to soak into the brush. Then, they would gently rub the stained area to remove the dirt. The box size is 14.5cm long, 6.0cm wide, and 5.5cm high. Please check the attached photos for signs of aging.
