This is a Sailor Profit Standard fountain pen, manufactured in the 1990s. The Profit Standard is a classic Sailor model, representing the original design of the current Profit 21 and 1911 series. While simple and focused on practicality, its writing quality is exceptionally high, and it has been supported by many users for many years. The 1990s models differ in detail and feel from current models, and possess a vintage charm. The nib is Sailor's unique Zoom nib. This special nib changes line width depending on the writing angle; writing flat creates a thick line, while writing upright creates a thin line. Because you can enjoy multiple line widths with a single pen, it can be used for everything from memos to expressive writing.
