For 29 years, I used it to transport my beloved '54 Reissue Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster on trains. It's not a semi-hard case, but the thick neck support and overall thick padding have allowed me to handle it somewhat roughly, and the guitar itself has never been damaged. The case is of high quality. The fourth photo shows the bottom. I often traveled by train, but I always kept it on my lap instead of the floor, so it's undamaged and clean. I brushed both the inside and outside with a clothing brush every time I used it, taking good care of it. The strap is detached and stored in the pocket. It will be shipped in a cardboard box without being folded.
