Internal HDD Blu-ray Recorder 【Junk Item】 　Manufacturer: MITSUBISHI 　Model Number: DVR-BZ240 　Accessories: Remote Control 　Year of Manufacture: 2010 I used this until 2020, but the disc opening/closing became faulty, and I have kept it in a cabinet since then. I do not have technical knowledge, so I hope that someone with expertise can make use of it. I have confirmed the current condition for the listing, and the following is the situation: ———————————————————————— ・The power of the main unit turns ON. The display shows: 　→HELLO→Channel display (DIG xx). ・The disc tray is faulty in opening and closing. The disc opening/closing operation works, but an error message like "disc read error" appears on the TV screen, and when "Confirm" is selected, the tray opens again, and I cannot proceed. ・Recorded programs on the HDD are displayed as a list on the TV screen. 　I was able to delete programs from the list. ・However, it cannot play back even when pressing the play button on the remote control. I tried selecting from the "Start Menu" on the remote control, and it played back. I suspect that it is not accepting the command, possibly because it recognizes it as being in the middle of disc insertion/ejection. ・I was able to watch terrestrial broadcasts by inserting an antenna coaxial cable. Channel selection from the remote control is also possible. ・There are scratches on the exterior of the main unit, but there are no major damages. ・The remote control has considerable contact issues, but there is no rust visible in the battery box. ※Please understand that the above is a confirmation by a layman. ※The instruction manual is not included.
