He made his major debut in 1982 as the guitarist of BOφWY. Although he had a great influence on the Japanese rock scene, the band disbanded in April 1988. In October of the same year, he made his solo debut as a singer and guitarist with "GUITARHYTHM." Since then, he has been active as a leading guitar hero in Japan, including his activities in COMPLEX. He moved to London, England, in 2012 and successfully held London concerts and European tours. He made his first appearance on the "Kohaku Uta Gassen" at the end of 2021. He has released 21 original albums, up to "GUITARHYTHM VII" in 2023.
