This is a koto. It has 13 strings and a standard body. There are a few small marks on the soundboard where the bridges have fallen, but they do not affect the use of the instrument at all. The sound is a beautiful, resonant tone characteristic of a koto, made of paulownia wood. Koto bridges and either a bridge box or cat-foot bridges will be included. A yutan (protective cloth) is included, although it is not in the best condition. There is also a vinyl carrying case. Shipping costs will be covered by the seller.
