Mortar diameter: approximately 28cm, pestle: approximately 30cm. Purchased while living in Shimane Prefecture. After researching, it appears to be Iwami-yaki pottery. (Please note that my memory is vague and I have no proof, so please understand.) I purchased it over 10 years ago, but I haven't used it very often. While there is a sense of use, there are no cracks, so I think it can still be used. I'm selling it to someone who can use it, as I'm organizing my kitchenware. There is no box, so I will wrap it in bubble wrap for shipping.
