The item is a wooden shogi board, komadai (piece stand), made by Yamashita, a set of shogi pieces, with a cover, lacquered, with legs, and with a "heso" (navel) feature. The shogi board is 15cm thick and 25cm in total height. It was found in my grandfather's closet. I am not very knowledgeable about it myself. Upon close inspection of the shogi board's surface, you can see some darkening. There are also scratches and dirt on the back and sides. The komadai also has scratches on the back. The front of the pieces is relatively clean, but there is dirt on the back. A cover for the shogi board is included. This also has scratches.
