Thank you for viewing. This is a lacquerware piece by Akihiko Sugita, called "Tebachi" (used in Buddhism). I purchased it at an exhibition. I am very fond of it, but it's so beautiful as a work of art that I haven't been able to bring myself to use it in daily life... so I'm offering it to someone who is looking for one while it's still new.
