Thank you for viewing. This is a tea caddy that was at my parents' house. I believe it's probably made of tin. It's old, so it has scratches and stains. It looks quite bright in the photos, but it's actually a bit more dull. I don't know how to clean it, so I will ship it as is. I could only decipher the three characters "誠　堂　造" (Sei Dou Zou) on the back. Someone more knowledgeable might be able to read the characters in the bottom right. Size: Height: Approximately 9cm Diameter of the outer lid: Approximately 4.8cm Widest part: Approximately 7cm The reason for being a junk item is that the inner lid is damaged and gets stuck when put in. The inner lid was stiff, so I used a hairdryer to warm it up and then used pliers to remove it, which was a rough method, and the knob is chipped and has marks from the pliers. I'm afraid to put it back in, so I will ship it separately. The circle of the lid on the main body is deformed, which I think is the reason why it doesn't come off (or fit). It looks like someone forced it off in the past, as the inner lid has many marks as if it was hit around the edges. It may not be practical, but it should be fine for collections or as antique interior decor. I will ship it via either Mercari delivery service.
