France Luneville Cobalt Blue Lorraine Cross Series A very rare tumbler from the Luneville kiln, featuring a deep cobalt blue. The central emblem is adorned with gold-painted lilies (fleur-de-lis), the symbol of the French royal family, along with swords, a cross, and the motto "NUL NE DESPERANDUM (Never despair)," creating a proud design. The pale blue enamel and gold decoration are beautiful, giving the piece a solemn impression. It is believed to have been made as a commemorative item or for decorative purposes, and is also perfect as a vase or pen holder. A beautiful roller vase of Luneville pottery by Keller & Guérin. Early 20th century, made in France. The emblem is depicted in blue and gold enamel against a background of the Lorraine cross and an eagle. It was produced in 1904 on the anniversary of the birth of Joan of Arc in Domremy. Very good condition (no chips, cracks, or repairs). Height 6.5cm, diameter 6cm. Extremely rare
