Gretsch G5420T Electromatic Classic Hollow Body Single-Cut with Bigsby This is a hollow body model in the 6120 style. The new trestle block design, which uses high-strength adhesive between the body top and back, delivers a more accurate and snappy tone, a more expansive and speedy response, and a highly aggressive sound. Combined with the all-new FT-5E FilterTron pickups, this hollow body sound delivers a powerful full-body punch, classic brilliance, enhanced presence, and accelerates clear and precise playing. Although it's an Electromatic series, it's very well-made, a world of difference from the poorly made models of the past. It has the airy resonance unique to full-hollow guitars, and the pickups also have a FilterTron-like tone, with a sound comparable to Japanese-made Gretsch guitars. The weight is light, approximately 3.4kg. Sound output is good. The fret life remaining is about 90%. The truss rod also has room to adjust. A Gator hard case is included. I purchased it about 4 years ago, but I haven't used it much, so the pickguard sticker is still attached.
