This is a Paul Eydner vase I found at a flea market in Germany. It was handmade in East Germany in the 1950s-60s. It has a matte texture. The colors are a mottled dark brown and a yellowish-gray. PAUL EYDNER (1878-1946) He established a pottery workshop in Waldenburg in 1903. The workshop was maintained after the war by his daughter, Alice, who carried on Paul's will, until 1972. In 1972, the workshop was partially nationalized and sold to a state-owned art dealer in the GDR (East Germany) in 1975. There are irregularities on the body and bottom that were created during manufacturing. There are some areas where the color hasn't fully adhered. There is writing on the bottom, possibly in pencil.
