Both straight and curved guides are included. You can switch the guides to accommodate either type of slash quilt (for stitch spacing of 6mm or more). □ Ratchet mechanism to securely fix the blade. The ratchet mechanism prevents the blade from rotating when pressed. Since the blade doesn't rotate, the fabric doesn't get caught between the guide and the blade, allowing you to cut layered fabric cleanly. □ 16-segment pitch feed to maintain sharpness. When the blade becomes dull, rotate it one pitch to maintain sharpness. The design makes it easy to see when to replace the blade.
