I have stored it in a paulownia wood closet, so there is no particular deterioration, and I think you can still wear it. The original belt is damaged. I tried a belt of the same width, and it seemed fine with a black belt. I will include the belt, but I recommend not using it. I purchased it at the Takashimaya Kyoto store. It is made of sturdy cotton material, so wrinkles are not very noticeable, but there are some on the back. It will look nice with ironing.
