This is a "Kimamori" (protective charm) from Mitsumine Shrine in Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture. It contains wood from a powerful, ancient tree and is considered a very potent amulet. This amulet was received after hiking to Mitsumine Shrine, which is located at the summit of a mountain. It has been featured in the media and is said to bring good luck, with figures like Mao Asada, athletes, and artists possessing it. Instead of guardian lion-dogs, the shrine features wolves guarding the torii gate, reflecting the deity's origins, and a wolf is depicted on the back of the amulet.
