A long plate by a ceramic artist featuring a cute cityscape. I purchased it at the artist's solo exhibition. Made in Japan. It's a very simple and whimsical plate with a light feel. It's perfect for serving side dishes, and also great for presenting petit cakes or cookies for a nice touch. Size: Approximately 33cm wide, 14.5cm long, 3cm high. Used a few times. It seems to be made with a light clay, so it's easy to hold despite its size. There are fine crackles (called "nyu" in Japanese?) in the center, but this is common in this artist's other works as they are used. I have many dishes already and don't have much opportunity to use this one, so I'm selling it.
