The exterior has considerable scuffing from extensive use, but it has not been bumped or dropped. There are no scratches on the lens, but there is some fine dust. There are no problems with operation or the images taken. I have used it many times to enter photo contests and for exhibition prints in A3-size prints. I am selling my Canon SLR equipment because I have switched to mirrorless cameras and now use Sony and Nikon.
