This is a chinrest that was fitted to a 1/8 size German old violin purchased from a famous workshop. I also purchased and test-played a Guarneri model, but ultimately chose the Guarneri, so I would like to offer this one to someone who can use it. The material is ebony. Since it was replaced immediately after being fitted, the cork is not worn at all, and the metal fittings are still shiny! Commercially available cheap chinrests may not have cork padding or may require hole adjustments, but this one has been adjusted at a well-known workshop, so you can use it immediately. However, this is a used item that was test-played by a child, so please refrain from purchasing if you are overly concerned. Please purchase only if you understand.
