This is a silk (lined) visiting kimono made by the second generation "Kutaro Kawamura," known as a master craftsman of Kyoto. Approximate measurements are:裄丈 (yuki丈, shoulder to wrist) 70 cm, 袖丈 (sleeve length) 49 cm, 身丈 (length from shoulder) 167 cm (161 cm from back), 前幅 (front width) 25 cm, and 後ろ幅 (back width) about 30 cm. The kimono is dyed in a gentle gray color with a pattern of rice ears? and birds. The lining (hakke) is a very pale white-gray color, a light grayish-white. There is a signature "Kutaro" on the right front panel (okumi). The smooth texture and unique luster are similar to dyed Oshima Tsumugi, but I cannot confirm this as the certification tag is missing.
