Continuing to cut with a worn blade that is no longer sharp will quickly wear out various parts of the saw itself, so it is recommended to replace the blade early if you feel the cutting performance has significantly decreased. The genuine blade also comes with a replacement orange groove, so replacing the groove at the same time as the blade will reduce blade wobble and make cutting glass much more comfortable.
