This is a baby hat/tea cozy from Yoso Nakamura (TAKUYA NAKAMURA). I purchased it at an event where Okinawan artists gathered. It was created as a tea cozy (pot cover), but it can also be used as a child's hat. My son actually used it a few times until he was about 2 years old.
