This is a new, unsewn roll of silk komon fabric. Dyed on Tango chirimen crepe fabric in an adult pink base color, it features a large peony-like floral pattern designed in the style of Inden (lacquered leather). The patterned areas have a slightly raised, textured feel. Furthermore, the fabric's weave changes at about one-third of the width, creating a subtle color variation, making this a very elaborate komon. Because of the large pattern, it would also be stylish as a haori (short coat).
