This is a sanshin made of Kuroki striped black wood, in the Makabi style. It was purchased from Ikemato Aragaki Sanshin Store in Okinawa City. The skin was replaced at Mori Sanshin in Okinawa City. The front skin is a single layer of genuine leather, and the back is reinforced genuine leather. The finish appears to be imitation, but it's a beautiful two-tone of black and reddish colors. There are a few places where the paint has chipped, but it hasn't affected the playing. This is a used item, so please understand that it is sold as-is, with no returns accepted.
