Although it's labeled as a light weight jacket, it's constructed more like a shirt, so it can be worn as a shirt jacket. Compared to US NAVY poplin shirts from the same era, it feels more like a jacket. This is a first-time item for me, and I believe it's a design that leads to later utility shirts, but the shape of the collar and the underside of the pocket flaps are still made in the older style. There were ARMY poplin shirts around 1960, but this is a very rare piece from before that, and it's thought that the original number of existing items was small, so it's likely to be a once-in-a-lifetime encounter. This is a one-of-a-kind item found in America, so please consider it. 【Condition】There are traces of patches removed on both arms, some stains, some fading, minor scuffs and fraying, and nep (thread clumping that occurs during the manufacturing process), with dirt especially visible on the left arm. There are also minor imperfections that are not shown in the images, but considering the age, the condition is not particularly bad, and it can still be worn. It has been washed before sale.
