My child wore this once at a kindergarten summer festival when they were 3 years old. It's a separate type, with the top and bottom separate, so it was easy for a small child to wear without it coming undone. It has been stored at home since then, so there is some minor wear and tear, but it hasn't been worn many times, so I think it can still be worn. Please note that the obi (sash) tag has been cut off.
