[Description] This is a pair of Levi's 505 sulfur black denim pants from 1995. Nowadays, they are categorized as yarn-dyed and garment-dyed, but the yarn-dyed ones were originally called original black, and the garment-dyed ones were called full black. Made in Puerto Rico, a US territory. Since it's fabric-dyed and not garment-dyed, the inner tags and pocket lining are not dyed. The biggest characteristic of garment-dyed is the deeper black color compared to yarn-dyed, allowing you to enjoy the fading. There is actual whiskering (photo ④) and honeycombs behind the knees (photo ⑦), and overall lightning-like fading, so you can expect color changes to occur with each wear. While a deadstock, jet-black condition is good, a dark black with fading guides is a rare find, making this a valuable piece. The number of these is decreasing, and prices continue to rise, so please consider purchasing if you are interested. I'm reluctantly selling these because the size doesn't fit me.
