They feel good against the skin and wrap around your feet when you wear them. They are washable and clean. With previous zori, the middle was closed, and my little toe would sometimes stick out. I've changed where it closes on these. They also have overall stability. The back is also carefully finished. You'll understand the quality when you wear them. If they are too tight or loose, the thong is tied in two places on the back of the zori.
