The small plates have been used very little, but the areas marked with a circle were like that from the beginning, as shown in the image. I didn't use them as teacups in everyday life, but rather for things like dipping sauce for soba noodles or chawanmushi (savory egg custard). I stored them in a kitchen cabinet, so the back two were hardly used, but I'm not sure which ones they are anymore. Since the patterns are in pairs, your meals will be more vibrant.
