This is a genuine silk duster made using silk scraps, taught to me by my grandmother, who is over 80 years old. The handle is made from black bamboo from my garden. Due to the growth of the black bamboo, I can't make many of these, and the color variations of the hand-dyed strips are also a one-time-only opportunity. I hope those who like them will purchase them. The black bamboo is a natural material, so it's not uniform. There may be slight bends, but this should not affect its use. My grandmother taught me that the fabric used for the duster is better at catching dust if it's torn rather than cut with scissors. I've shaken off most of the loose threads, but some may come off when you first start using it. It will gradually settle down and become a very user-friendly duster. Please enjoy the process.
