Cotton yarn 10/4, approximately 150g per skein. Suitable thickness for Kogin-zashi embroidery. Can also be used for hand weaving. Please read the entire description carefully before purchasing. It's best to wash the yarn in hot water once before using. Tie a figure-eight with vinyl string around the yarn (see photo 3) to prevent tangling. A sample skein will have vinyl string tied on it. Washing will remove dirt, as shown in photo 4. The yarn will change from off-white to slightly whiter, become fluffier, and slightly thicker. Photo 5 shows 10/4 on the left and 20/6 on the right. 20/6 cotton yarn is also available, suitable for Sashiko, so please take a look if you're interested.
