There are scratch-like marks on the 3rd section. There are traces of paint-like application on the metal parts near the reel seat (top and bottom). The tip appears to be the original. The butt cap is not stuck. Used 5 times and there are no problems associated with use. Those seeking a pristine item should refrain from purchasing. Rod bag, case, and warranty card are not included.
