The mainspring barrel has a very high probability of causing problems around it due to the aging of the grease. Therefore, I do not use grease. Please refrain from purchasing if you dislike this. The epilam solution uses stearic acid. The movement looks like it has a white film, but that is the epilam film. Epilam solution prevents oil from splashing and has anti-rust and lubricating effects, and is a treatment recommended by each manufacturer. It will better protect the movement until the next overhaul. For the next maintenance, if there is no significant daily variation or discomfort, it would be appreciated if you could aim for 7-10 years. Depending on the specifications of the item, I adjust it to be less than 15 seconds when the mainspring is well wound. Of course, it depends on the winding of the mainspring and weather conditions. Therefore, the daily variation is within 60 seconds. I handle watches that are about 50 years old. During operation checks, sudden failures or large daily variations may occur depending on the usage conditions.
