This is a 220-gram square-chamfered (octagonal) hammer. The corners of the square head are chamfered, giving it an octagonal appearance. The handle is made of straight-grained Yakusugi cedar, with approximately 12 winter rings, providing flexibility and strength, making it an easy-to-use tool. This is a similar model to one commissioned by a female woodworker. At her request, the grip was made slimmer, but protrusions were added to both sides to prevent the shaft from rotating, securing the striking surface. I intended to create a tool that is easy for women to use for hobbies or work. Of course, men can use it as well.
