Purchased 35 years ago, the basket and wooden handle are very sturdy. There are stains on the inside due to long-term storage. Please be aware of this before purchasing. Please check the photos. The inside and outside of the basket are sewn together with fishing line, so if you are good at sewing, you could replace just the inside and still use it!
