Thank you for viewing. This is a set of two Enoch Wedgwood dinner plates, made in England. Size: Approximately 25cm in diameter *Please forgive any slight size discrepancies due to amateur inspection. Enoch Wedgwood (Tunstall) Ltd was a pottery company originally known as Wedgwood & Co, based in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, England. The company was founded in 1860 by Enoch Wedgwood, a distant relative of the famous potter Josiah Wedgwood. In 1965, the company name was changed to Enoch Wedgwood (Tunstall) Ltd, and it was acquired by Josiah Wedgwood & Sons in 1980, operating until it was renamed Unicorn Pottery. With a design similar to Burleigh's Asian Pheasants, these plates in a vibrant pink color are rare in the antique market and are very popular. Why not enjoy a British breakfast with bacon, fried eggs, tomatoes, and beans? (See the last photo for a sample product) Regarding condition, there are kiln marks from the manufacturing process (see photo 8). There are some minor scratches due to aging, but they have a shine and are in relatively good condition for a vintage item. Please understand that these are used items stored at home, and please purchase if you appreciate vintage items. There is no original box, so they will be carefully packed with cushioning material for shipping. Immediate purchase is welcome. Thank you. I am selling many other plates separately. #market307's plates are here
