This is a guitar made by my father, who enjoyed making guitars in his lifetime. It is being sold as a junk item. The sides and back are made of Camatillo, and the top is Sitka Spruce. The size is modeled after a Martin D size. It has scalloped X bracing. The finish is nitrocellulose lacquer. Camatillo, along with Granadillo, was one of the new woods proposed by LMI in the 2000s. I remember it having a sound somewhere between mahogany and rosewood. Those who prefer the sound of mahogany over rosewood might like it. There are traces of an attempt to reset the neck, but I couldn't determine any neck angle issues visually. The back binding is detached. There are no cracks or damage to the back or top itself, but there may be oversights. I will also include unused fret wire for the 15th fret. 0 fret: 46mm 14th fret: 58mm You might be able to finish it and play it as is, but I also suggest it as a practice piece for repairs or for parts.
