In particular, the maedabukuro-shiki rokushaku fundoshi (front-pocket style six-shaku loincloth) rarely comes undone, making it indispensable for the dynamic Hadaka Matsuri held nationwide, represented by the Enoshima Tenno Festival (White Fundoshi Mikoshi) that crosses the sea. Responding to the requests of enthusiasts, we have prepared the authentic, Wada-jii-made maedabukuro-shiki rokushaku fundoshi. Product Information The Wada-jii-made maedabukuro-shiki rokushaku fundoshi "Tenno Festival" is a single piece of homemade maedabukuro-shiki rokushaku fundoshi 〈Large size〉 using high-quality white sarashi cotton "Izumi Hagoromo Sarashi" guaranteed by the Kansai Fashion Federation. ● Length 250cm Width 22cm Reinforced with all-around folding ● In my student days, for mizumatoi (water loincloth), I folded the full width (34cm) of white sarashi cotton in half, resulting in a half-width fundoshi (17cm), but this was a makeshift solution because fundoshi specifically for water use were not sold. Nowadays, various rokushaku fundoshi are sold in internet mail-order shops, but they still sell the makeshift 17cm-wide rokushaku fundoshi. However, this is a bit narrow, and Wada-jii's research suggests that the ideal width is 22-24cm. ● Please refer to the photos for instructions on how to tie it.
