While it hasn't been used much, there is some discoloration on the metal parts. Please check the photos. The surface has a core, but there is some distortion and a dent on the inside. Personally, I don't mind it, but if you are concerned, filling it with more items should solve the problem. (The design is such that it will inevitably dent when taking items out of the bag.)
