Aside from inkstones for appreciation and enjoyment, inkstones made from the stone of the "End-kei Old Pit's Great West Cave Water Cliff," considered the best inkstone, are expensive, but they produce ink incredibly quickly, and the ink color is also beautiful. Also, since excavation is not currently being carried out at the End-kei Old Pit, only small inkstones are available.
