We have a direct contract with a Moroccan atelier and have them custom-make these for Japanese customers, so the quality is far superior to those purchased at souvenir shops. However, as they are handmade, there may be (stains, scratches, fraying, color fading, wrinkles, dents, loose sequins). Babouches use genuine leather (sheepskin) and are tanned using traditional methods. This babouche is made to minimize odor as much as possible and is an odorless series, but perceptions vary, so please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to smells. However, the leather smell will lessen with use, so please rest assured. The color may appear different from the actual product depending on your monitor.
