A small Kutani-yaki incense container (small lidded container). It has a mark "角に為" (Kaku ni tame) inside the foot, and is considered to be Kutani-yaki from the late Meiji to early Showa period. The lid features a design of flowers and small birds, carefully painted in Kutani's five colors (red, green, yellow, purple, etc.), and the sides are decorated with a mesh pattern, making it a highly decorative piece. It is recommended not only as an incense container, but also for storing small items or as a collectible.
