This is a custom StingRay with matching color on the back of the neck and headstock. The pickups have been replaced with Duncan pickups. With the series/parallel switch, you can control the sound, from the original StingRay's peaky sound to a sound closer to a Jazz Bass. Since it has been replaced with Duncan pickups, it has a sound that is easier to use in live performances and recordings than the standard StingRay pickups. It has a powerful and strong low-end sound that seems particularly well-suited for genres like Japanese rock. The neck is very strong, and I haven't had to adjust the truss rod since I bought it. Both the truss rod and frets have plenty of life left. The jack has been replaced once. There is a paint chip on the top of the headstock. Other than that, it has mainly been used at home, so there are some minor scratches, but it is in relatively good condition. The pickguard is mirrored, but I will include two other types. I will also include the original pickups and ship it in the original hard case.
