I bought this here last year and dressed my dog in it once or twice during the Christmas season. The size was just right (for a Toy Poodle, 3.5 kg). It's the type that fastens with buttons. You might be able to put a thin layer of clothing underneath and wear it like an outer garment. I've hand-washed it once. I don't see any stains, but please understand that this is a used item.
